It’s great to see the building blocks of our platform get better, stronger, and faster! WIth this new release of Ruby and the pending release or Rails 3.0, I can’t wait to see more companies embrace Rails and Ruby as their core development framework.
As a Rails consulting shop, this is great news of course. Hopefully, not only will hobbyists and startups be relying on Ruby more for their product development, but also on the enterprise front. Already, more and more established companies are utilizing Ruby on Rails in their experimental teams and R&D divisions to prototype ideas and products. It will be interesting to see the adoption rate of this framework on the enterprise level in the coming months.
