At the heart of our development methodology is Agile and User Centered Design.
[Agile] allows us to develop quickly, keep projects on track, be flexible to project changes, and ship deliverables.
[User Centered Design] allows us to develop more accurately and to make websites work better.

In development, you can run really fast, but if you’re running in the wrong direction…you can end up somewhere undesirable really quick.
We love our process because we’ve seen it work efficiently, it keeps projects running smoothly, and clients seem to like it.
We’ve learned from good and bad processes, and we’ve created our process to move projects forward.

DISCOVERY
Every project is different, and we make sure we thoroughly understand our clients, their business, and their goals before developing proper solutions. This Discovery step is crucial in establishing a project scope, planning out the project, and laying the groundwork for a smooth process.

IDEATE
Our Ideation phase is part inspiration…part craft…part research. To make sure our clients’ online strategy is inline with their business goals, we take time to brainstorm ideas, analyze competitors, and develop concepts to create a successful online campaign.

DESIGN
Our design phase blends form with function. We start with User Experience Design to ensure the websites we create are usable and intuitive. We then move on to Visual Design, where we design comps to make sure clients are happy with their online brand representation.

DEVELOP
Here’s where we get into the nuts and bold of it all: development phase. We are a full service development shop and we handle all the heavy lifting on the backend. We specialize in Ruby on Rails & PHP, and our engineers can build a customized solution just for you.

REFACTOR
By practicing Agile and User Centered Design process, we have the flexibility to accommodate changes in project scope, whether caused by user feedback or change in client priorities. We schedule time for “refactoring” to make sure we continually refine the website as we progress.

LAUNCH
All systems check, our last phase is to launch your website or application onto the web. In this phase, we make sure you have all the tools you need to deploy a successful and comprehensive online strategy. This includes factors like analytics, SEO, SEM, and even social media strategies.
